Yarn It Forward -- Irene Tsuneta and Kim Brook

Yarn It Forward is looking for a few good yarn-ists!

We’ve got yarn available for anyone who wants to create additional pieces (those not being attached to our final large-scale “mural”) that we can auction off to benefit St Luke AME Church in East Lawrence. The final mural will also be separated and auctioned off, but we want to open it up to anyone else who might want to knit, crochet, weave or otherwise create art, garments, afghans or other items. We would need these pieces in late May/ early June, so you’ve got a few months! We have yarn in every color, weight, texture, and content. Let us know by sending a Facebook message, commenting on a Facebook or Instagram post, or emailing us at OR come chat with us at any of our Sunday sessions at the Lawrence Arts Center, from 2-4pm, each Sunday until March 22nd. Snacks, drinks, and yarn provided!
